About the project
A wall coating & full house renovation to a large end terrace house in Nantyglow, South Wales.
The walls had an unpainted pebble dash finish & stone wall on the front of the garage. We coated the walls with a coarse texture & chose smooth black for the window sills & plinth.
Scaffolding to the whole property was erected, the property then had a heavy dose of biocide to kill off fungicide and alga.
Front Elevation Wall:
There was cracking around the porch & plinth, blown render on right hand side above alarm. Our wall coating technicians made repairs & put back to the original façade. Some stone work above garage door required restoration work. All joints were re-pointing before bagging.
On right hand side of porch, new vents were fitted, concrete windows sills, plinth & lead flashing were coated in smooth black.
Side Elevation Wall:
This wall had cracks running between the windows & plinth. They were angle ground out & repaired. We sprayed the tringle section on side of window above gutter line, behind the gate post as far as we could, window sills & plinth in smooth black.
The downpipes were removed & the walls were coated behind them.
Rear Elevation Wall:
The gable wall needed a heavy power wash & biocide treatment. We removed all moss growing on the wall removed all blown render back to where it was solid. Repairs & Tyrolean were then done to match the existing wall.
The soil pipe & waist pipes we sprayed in to match existing colour of walls.
The lower roof had new lead flashing fitted & we also created a new bell drip.
In Summery:
The transformation of this property is amazing! It’s not only protected it from the weather elements, it’s also brought an old tired property back to pristine conduction, at the same time adding significant value to the home.
